Day 1: Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay
On your first day of your luxury cruise, you will firstly be introduced to the amazing sceneries of Halong Bay and its southern sister bay, Lan Ha. This trip through Halong Bay will literally take your breath away, with famous spots like Thien Cung and Me Cung caves, also do you have the chance to admire the beautiful Soi Sim and Titov islands. Also in the Gulf of Tonkin, south to the Halong Bay, you will find Lan Ha Bay and the Ho Ba Ham islets, which offer you tranquility and nature at its best. You will then have the chance to participate in the guided kayaking activity or a refreshing swim in the Bay’s emerald water.
Day 2: Cat Ba Island and Bai Tu Long Bay
Today you will visit the Cat Ba Island with its highlight, the famous national park, spread out on more than half of the island. This largest island of the Gulf of Tonkin, is covered by a dense rainforest with plenty of indigenous species of flora and fauna. The secluded village Viet Hai is located in the middle of this pristine environment. This village can easily be accessed by a short walk or cycling trip to explore the organic farm.
Then you will approach the most remote area of your journey, the Bai Tu Long Bay in the far east of Halong Bay. You will be overwhelmed by exceptional scale and variety of the geological rock formations of this area. Find for yourself unforgettable moments on a relaxing rowing boat trip through the floating village of Cong Dam and its geological area.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi
Today on your last day you will cruise back the Halong Bay. This fascinating area is awarded as a UNESCO world heritage site thanks to its limestone rock formations on about 2,000 islands and islets in all shapes and sizes, providing you a truly breathtaking seascape. You will find in its heart a huge collection of limestone rocks, caves and grottoes abound. Don’t miss out the most beautiful Cave, Sung Sot (Surprise). Its exceptional size and shapes are creation of millions of years of erosion.
