After your leisure breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and driver to start your city with the famous Ho Chi Minh Complex. Here you have the chance to contemplate the Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, House-on-Stilts, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Afterwards, you set off to the 1000 years old Temple of Literature. This is Vietnam’s first university and dated back to the year 1070 and is now the destination for young students to praise for luck in their upcoming exams. Savor your lunch at a nice restaurant.
After lunch, you will continue your trip to one of the most attractive museums in Hanoi – Museum of Ethnology. At this historical place you will be clearly explained by your guide about all the 54 ethnic minorities with hundreds of beautiful displays. Take also your time to observe the traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the ground.
Now comes the time to pay a visit to Ngoc Son Temple on a small island of the Hoan Kiem Lake by crossing the The Huc bridge, which name carries the meaning of ‘Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams’. Listen to its history from the 13th century. Witness the local activities in the Hanoi Old Quarter, a bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers, and around the Hoan Kiem Lake with an one-hour Cyclo-drive. The Ho Chi Minh mausoleum is closed on each Monday and Friday and annually from 08. September to 08. November for maintenance.
