Day 1: Ha Noi – Lao Cai city – Sapa town – Cat Cat & Sin Chai Village.
Today you should get your breakfast early as your guide will come to pick you up at around 7.00 am. Set off for a five hour drive to Sapa on a beautiful way with amazing landscapes of the Red river delta countryside. You arrive in Sapa at noon time and will have a lunch break there. Afterwards, you will trek down the valleys of the famous Cat Cat village and immerse yourself in the daily life of the Black H’Mong people. Continue down the valley to the foot of the waterfall, where the French built a hydraulic power station and stop at the bridge for authentic photos of this unforgettable moment. You will finish your today trek by passing by breathtaking landscapes and arrive after 3 km at Shin Chai village (depending on your fitness and capability you may also stop at Cat Cat village). Your car is already waiting for you there to take you back to Sapa town.
Day 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa
Enjoy your breakfast in your hotel. Then your guide will meet you to start a new exciting day with a transfer to Y Linh Ho village, your trekking start point for today. Your spectacular trek will take you through the small trails and magnificent landscapes of the beautiful Muong Hoa valley.
Your way leads you through mesmerizing lush rice terraces towards Lao Chai village of the Black H’Mong people, where you get a closer look in their daily life and traditional culture. You savor your delicious lunch in a local house nearby the great Muong Hoa River. Then you cross various unique bridges as you walk through Lao Chai village to Ta Van village. This village is occupied by the Dzay minority with strong Chinese culture. Your guide will be happy to explain you more their cultural life. The total distance of your trek is 9 km and lasts for around 4 hours. Take a bus ride back to Sapa town.
Day 3 (Sunday): Sapa – Bac Ha Market – Hanoi
This morning you will check out from your hotel to depart for the colorful Bac Ha market, which you arrive after a scenic two and a half hour drive. On your arrival, you are free to discover this biggest cultural market in north west region of Vietnam, with many vendors from different hill-tribe peoples such as Flower Hmong, Dzay, Tay and many other. At the market, you have will find plenty of Bac Ha people’s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches… Try even to interact with the local people to understand more about their daily activities. After lunch, you leave the market for the visit of the H’Mong King’s house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Continue further with a short walk to discover Ban Pho village of the Flower Hmong. Say good bye to Bac Ha and get back to Lao Cai town to wait for the bus to come back to Ha Noi at 9.00 pm
