Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh city. Cyclo tour with Water Puppet show (Dinner)
Arrive at Hanoi airport, Our private car and driver will be ready to pick you up and transfer to hotel in the city central. Take a rest and relax. Free your leisure time, walking around to get familiar with the change of weather, atmosphere and timezone.
At 18.00 Pick up at your hotel to start the trip. At 18.30 Enjoy the unique art of a water puppet show, a traditional art form closely connected with the long-standing spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. It is performed in a pool of water with the water surface being the stage. The puppeteers stand behind a screen and control the puppets using long bamboo rods and string mechanisms hidden beneath the water surface. A traditional Vietnamese orchestra provides accompanying background music. Singers originating from north Vietnam sing songs which tell the story being acted out by the puppets which are carved out of wood. Although the authentic shows are exclusively in Vietnamese, the tales depict rural life in villages and are easy to understand. The shows typically last for one hour and offer a colorful way to enjoy an ancient tradition.

Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh city tour – Cu Chi tunnel (Breakfast, Lunch) (Group tour)
After breakfast at your hotel, tour guide and bus come to pick you up for Cu Chi tunnel. Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca root which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunitions at the nearby shooting range. Tour finishes at your hotel at around 17.30pm. Afternoon, departure for the city tour. You will visit, Independence Palace known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. It was the sight of the end of the Vietnam/American war in 1975, as a North Vietnamese army tank crashed through the gates. The tank is still located at the Independence Palaces’ property.
Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people.

Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong delta (Breakfast, Lunch) (Group tour)
8:30AM Departing from your hotel for My Tho city by air-conditioned bus. ,
In My Tho, boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking ,floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house (viewing from the motorboat). Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Cồn Thới Sơn (Unicorn Island), from here taking a,horse cart to reach a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử – A folk ,art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of ,Humanity) can be heard and seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included).
Afterward, being on a small hand-rowing boat (the main mean of transportation in My Tho & Ben Tre) and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from ,both sides of the creek can be observed.,Before heading to lunch, passing through bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical ,Mekong house can be viewed here.
Then, it is lunch time after a short walk.,After lunch, boarding the motorboat and heading to learn coconut candies making process from a,workshop. Sample of candies can be tasted.,In the late afternoon, you’re driven to Can Tho city at the center of Mekong delta. Check in and,overnight in Can Tho hotel.
Day 4 : Visit Cai Rang floating market, Tra Su bird watching. Transfer to Chau Doc city (Breakfast, Lunch)
Breakfast is served at your hotel at 6am.
After breakfast, being at a wharf to board a motorboat for sightseeing the Cai Rang Floating ,Market which is the biggest and most colorful floating market in the Mekong Delta’s region.,In the very early morning, the river has become a busy commercial site where hundreds of boats ,packed with fruits, vegetables, plants and foods…line along the river and are ready for trading. ,Sellers will hang samples of what they are selling on the top of a long pole on their boats so that ,buyers can see from a distance what sellers are selling.,After the Cai Rang market, you return to your hotel to check out. ,Then transfer to Chau Doc town for lunch. Check in your hotel.
Please note that Chau Doc is not a big city so the hotel service is not really high quality.
Day 5 : Chau Doc – highspeed boat to Phnom Penh (Breakast)
Early morning after breakfast, you will get transfer to the pier and depart to Phnom Penh by Speed Boat.
12:30pm Arrival to Phnom Penh pier by Speed Boat. You meet our Cambodia tour guide. Checking in your hotel. After lunch by yourself in the restaurant, tour guide will transfer you to visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town. Visit the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles.

Day 6: Phnom Penh city tour (Breakfast, Lunch) (Private tour)
Morning, visit the notorious Choeung Ek Killing Fields 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of whom first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979). Continue your visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.
Afternoon, visit Wat Phnom – the most famous buddhist temple in Phnom Penh. It was built in 1373, and stands 27 metres above the ground. It is the tallest religious structure in the city. The pagoda was given the name of Wat Preah Chedey Borapaut.
Continue your visit to Russian Market (Psah Toul Tom Poung), a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs. Then, we end our tour at the Victory Monument. This Vann Molyvann-designed reddish-brown coloured edifice was built in 1958 to celebrate independence from the French and as a memorial to Cambodia’s war dead. Back to your hotel.

Day 7: Phnom Penh – Seam Reap by bus (Breakfast)
Breakfast is at your hotel. After that you will get the bus 07.30 to go to Seam Reap. Arrival at around 12.30pm, guide will come to take you to the hotel. After checking in, you will go to have dinner and return to the hotel. The rest of day is for free to walk around and touch to the local life of Seam Reap.

Day 8: Visit the formation and the Rise of Khmer (Breakfast, Lunch) (Private tour)
Breakfast is at the hotel. In the morning, tour guide and car pick you up to do Seam Reap city tour to discover the Formation and the Rise of Khmer Emperor from the early day until the golden time. We will visit some beautiful temples in Siem Reap including:
– Roulous group with: Preah Ko, Bakon and Lolei. It is composed by three major temples: Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko, along with tiny Prasat Prei Monti. At both Bakong and Lolei there are contemporary Theravada buddhist monasteries.
– The Eastern Mebon is a 10th Century temple at Angkor, Cambodia. Built during the reign of King Rajendravarman, it stands on what was an artificial island at the center of the now dry East Baray reservoir.
– Ta Som is a small temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It is located north east of Angkor Thom and just east of Neak Pean.
Neak Pean at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Preah Khan Baray built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is the “Mebon” of the Preah Khan baray.
Preah Khan is a temple at Angkor, built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. However, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.
Day 9: The start of Angkor: Kulen National Park – Banteay Srei – Beng Mealea (Breakfast, Lunch) (Private tour)
Breakfast is at your hotel. Meet with our guide to brief of the tour at 8.30am. Then transfer 1 hour to the foot of Kulen Mountain where we start hiking up the hill. The first 500 meters are uphill with some rock. Then it is flat all the ways. We make our first water stop at the pagoda in the middle of the climb to get some energy before heading through the jungle to the visit one Thousand Lingas. Then we visit the Grand Reclining Buddha and enjoy swimming at the 40 meter high water fall.
After the trekking, you will visit Kbal Spean. It consists of a series of stone rock relief carvings in sandstone formations of the river bed and banks. It is commonly known as the “Valley of a 1000 Lingas” or “The River of a Thousand Lingas”. The motifs for stone carvings are mainly myriads of lingams (phallic symbol of Hindu god Shiva), depicted as neatly arranged bumps that cover the surface of a sandstone bed rock, and lingam-yoni designs. There are also various Hindu mythological motifs, including depictions of the gods Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Lakshmi, Rama, and Hanuman, as well as animals (cows and frogs)
Following your journey, we drive to the “gem” of the Angkor area called Banteay Srei temple. It was built almost by sandstone. It is a small model of Angkor Wat becomes to famous for all. It is also called “The treasure of Khmer” displaying almost the finest examples of sculpture and architecture of the Old Khmer .
You will be transferred to the quiet Beng Mealea. This is the burial place of King Suryavarman – who developed Khmer Empire to the Golden Time as well as built the one of the World Wonder called Angkor Wat. Beng Mealea was was forgotten until 1954 and found by French people. Enjoy a short walk through the dense jungle and discover the wonders of an overgrown temple, Beng Mealea, which lay undiscovered for centuries.
At around 17pm, we return to Seam Reap and drop you at your hotel. In the evening is the time for you to rest, discover nightlife of Seam Reap. Overnight at the hotel in Seam Reap.
Day 10: The best of Khmer: Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm (Breakfast, Lunch) (Private tour)
In the morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom – The city of Temples located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire built by Suryavarman II Emperor. Angkor Thom was built in the Golden Age of Khmer and became the symbol of Khmer Empire in early of 12th century. While the European people are discovering the ground, the Khmer People discovers astronomy. Angkor Thom is a great work, the result of outstanding achievements in architecture, the size, the feats of calculation and Khmer. The most highlight is Bayon temple – the most beautiful temple in Angkor Wat – well-known as the worships of Vinshu who was a Patron God of Suryavaman II. It is a temple of temple, greater than the great.
Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.
Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. It was built in the end of 12th century until early of 13th century. It is not like another Hindu temples, this is the temple of Buddhism. He is the first Buddhist Emperor in Cambodia. Ta Phrohm expresses the accuracy and the wonder of art. To build it, they used 50,000 taels of gold, 50,000 taels of silver and a big amount of GEM. Stretching along the history, it has been forgotten and occupied by the plant. After being discovered, it has become the temple has had the most.
Before ending the tour today, enjoy wonderful sunset scenery from the Top of Phnom Bakhen Hill.
