DETAIL OF ITINERARY
Day 1 : Arrive Ho Chi Minh city - Free time
Upon yor arrival at the airport, Driver comes to pick you up and transfer to the hotel. The rest of day is free for you to relax and sleep after your long flight. Enjoy the night life of Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight at the hotel in the central District 1 - Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 2 : Full day Mekong delta with floating market (breakfast, lunch)
Today, you have early breakfast at your hotel. We departures from your hotel at around 8am for Mekong delta tour. After 2 hours driving, you arrive to Mekong area. From here, you will see the different of rural life of Southern Vietnam .
Start visiting Vinh Trang pagoda. Tour guide will tell the history of Vĩnh Trang Pagoda- the oldest pagoda in South, it has the most specialist architecture of Mekong Delta, is combined between Viet- Khmer culture and original Western Europe architecture.
Leaving car, we get on the motorboat and move on the river. The boat will go along Tiền River and pass through 4 islands: Long, Lân, Quy, Phụng ( Dragon, Unicorn, Turtose, Phoenix).
The first place to visit would be the bee farm. Learn about growing of bees, get the honey the life of bees. You will enjoy tea with real honey and bee pollen. Taking picture with Grass Python and Angel Banana – special fruit in Mekong Delta.
Relax your mind by rowing boat on small, peaceful river branches to get into local house of culture for enjoying “ Đờn Ca Tài Tử” – A specific characteristic of Southern culture then visit coconut candy villages.
The boat continues going on the river. Arrive at the village, you will touch to the life of local people, the way people raise the fish on the floating house in river.
The delicious lunch is served at the local restaurant. You will try real cuisine – another style and different with in Ho Chi Minh city.
After your lunch, we visit the orchard by riding a bike around the village.
Your trip in Mekong delta full day finishes at around 15pm. Start driving back to Ho Chi Minh city.
In the evening will be free for you to walk around, have dinner and do some shopping in Ben Thanh market. Overnight at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh city tour - Flight to Hanoi city (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
In the morning after breakfast, you check out your hotel and departure for the city tour. The first place is today is Independence Palace known at the Reunification Palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. This is an extremely important place in Vietnamese history - the place where Vietnam was declared united. Before 1975, Reunification Palace was a working place of South Vietnam Government likes White House in USA. It was the sight of the end of the Vietnam/American war in 1975, as a North Vietnamese army tank crashed through the gates. The tank is still located at the Independence Palaces’ property.
Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office.
If in the Hanoi city we have Military History Museum, in Ho Chi Minh city haves War Remnants Museum. Because of young history, War Remnant Museum just shows information of Vietnam in 200 years. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime.
Lunch are served at the local restaurant close to your hotel.
Then you walk back to your hotel and relax there. In the afternoon, car transfer you to the airport in Ho Chi Minh city to get flight to Hanoi city. On arrival, tour guide and car will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel in OLD QUARTER OF HANOI CITY. After checking in, the tour guide walk with you to have dinner at the restaurant around. Return to your hotel and overnight in Hanoi city.
Day 4 : Hanoi - Halong bay trip with 5 star cruise. Touch to the wonder (breakfast, lunch)
Around 08.00, Our guide Pick you up at your hotel and go to Halong bay on a shuttle bus. Take a rest at Humanity center and enjoy local specialties.
Arrival in Halong at 11.45. The captain and crew welcome you aboard. Savor the delicious lunch as boat pass through thousands of Islands and Islets with different shapes.
After lunch, explore the biggest and the most amazing cave in Halong Bay – Surprise Cave. Then Kayaking for an hour around the fishing village and discover the life of community there. Then back to boat for Sunset Party, get to calm, clean water place for swimming. Enjoy delicious and romantic dinner with some barbecue courses. ,In the evening, free time for entertainment with the funny plays such as squid fishing, karaoke program, stars watching on sundeck… Spend romantic night on board and overnight on board.
Day 5 : Halong bay - Hanoi - Old Quarter Walking tour and Water Puppet shows (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
In the morning, breakfast, fruits, coffee and tea are served on board. Cruise further and stop-over at a pearl farm to sea real peace cultivated by local fisherman. After that, we continue cruising further, go throught many islands and islets to discover the hidden charm of the bay.
Join a cooking class opened right on the cruise for all the people are interested in cooking, especially cooking Vietnamese food. Cruise back to the prier while having lunch. Say goodbye to the crew and disembark. Get on bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi around 04.30pm. You will check in the hotel and walk to near Hoan Kiem lake and enjoy your Water Puppet Shows at the theater.
After 45 minutes for the show, you will be guided to have dinner in the restaurant. Afterward, we go to walking tour around Old Quarter. This tour is called Food on Foot tour. By this tour, you will visit the Old Quarter, learn about history of Hanoi city, try the traditional food on the way of the tour. You will also visit the symbol of Hanoi ( Hoan Kiem lake ) and the night market if the day is at the weekend: Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Overnight in Hanoi Old Quarter hotel.
Day 6 : Hanoi city tour - Flight to Siem Reap (breakfast, lunch)
After breakfast, you will check out hotel. At 8am, tour guide pick up from your hotel,
The first place would be Tran Quoc Pagoda: learn about the main religion of Vietnamese people and Oriental “feng shui”. Oriental people have extremely rich spiritual life. They strongly believe in Feng Shui theory, talismans …. All of them are mysterious. In many years, there were a lot of Western people tried to research about this but wasn’t successful.
Continue visiting Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or uncle Ho. On the way of tour, you visit Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, lake, One Pilar Pagoda in the complex. During the trip, the tour guide tells you the story of Ho Chi Minh and how did he become Father of Vietnam.
Leaving Ho Chi Minh complex, pillar pagoda for the temple of literature - the first college of Vietnam and the place dedicating to Confucian.
At 12.30, enjoy local lunch, then visiting Ethnology Museum where you have great chance to know about culture, custom, languages, houses of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. In case of afternoon flight to Siem Reap - Cambodia, we will skip Ethnology Museum, after lunch, you will return to your hotel and get transfer to the airport by the appropriate time.
At 16 .00, the trip ends at your hotel, car and driver will transfer you to the airport in Hanoi city to get flight to Siem Reap city. At arrival, tour guide comes to pick you up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap - Cambodia.
Day 7 : Best day for Angkor Wat (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
In the morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom – The city of Temples located in present day Cambodia, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire built by Suryavarman II Emperor. Angkor Thom was built in the Golden Age of Khmer and became the symbol of Khmer Empire in early of 12th century. While the European people are discovering the ground, the Khmer People discovers astronomy. Angkor Thom is a great work, the result of outstanding achievements in architecture, the size, the feats of calculation and Khmer. The most highlight is Bayon temple – the most beautiful temple in Angkor Wat – well-known as the worships of Vinshu who was a Patron God of Suryavaman II. It is a temple of temple, greater than the great.
Continue your visit at the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.
Continue your visit to Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in Angkor. It was built in the end of 12th century until early of 13th century. It is not like another Hindu temples, this is the temple of Buddhism. He is the first Buddhist Emperor in Cambodia. Ta Phrohm expresses the accuracy and the wonder of art. To build it, they used 50,000 taels of gold, 50,000 taels of silver and a big amount of GEM. Stretching along the history, it has been forgotten and occupied by the plant. After being discovered, it has become the temple has had the most.
Before ending the tour today, enjoy wonderful sunset scenery from the Top of Phnom Bakhen Hill. From here, you can see the nature monkeys family and give some fruits to them. The monkeys here is so friendly that you can take the pictures and selfie with them.

Day 8 : Visit the Rise of Khmer Empire - departure (breakfast, lunch)
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will start to visit some beautiful temples in Siem Reap including:
- Roulous group with: Preah Ko, Bakon and Lolei. It is composed by three major temples: Bakong, Lolei, and Preah Ko, along with tiny Prasat Prei Monti. At both Bakong and Lolei there are contemporary Theravada buddhist monasteries.
- The Eastern Mebon is a 10th Century temple at Angkor, Cambodia. Built during the reign of King Rajendravarman, it stands on what was an artificial island at the center of the now dry East Baray reservoir.
- Ta Som is a small temple at Angkor, Cambodia, built at the end of the 12th century for King Jayavarman VII. It is located north east of Angkor Thom and just east of Neak Pean.
- Neak Pean at Angkor, Cambodia is an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Preah Khan Baray built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. It is the “Mebon” of the Preah Khan baray.
Preah Khan is a temple at Angkor, built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. However, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.
The above place are very old temples marked the time of formation of Khmer Empire.
