1. What is it?

Hue is the city which belongs to Thua Thien – Hue province. The city is the center of the central region in many aspects such as culture, politics, health, education, tourism, science … With Perfume River and leave the legacy of feudal dynasties, Hue, land of poetry, is one of the cities mentioned many poetry and music in Vietnam for romance and dreaming of it. The city has five titles in Vietnam UNESCO: Complex of Hue Monuments (1993), Hue court music (2003), woodblocks of the Nguyen Dynasty (2009), World of Nguyen Dynasty (2014) and the poetry system posted on Hue royal architecture (2016). Hue is the national-level urban Vietnam, and was the capital of Vietnam feudal Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945).

  1. Location

Hue City is at middle part of Vietnam which border of  north and west by the town of Huong Tra, south Huong Thuy town, east by the town of Huong Thuy and Phu Vang district. Located on both sides downstream of the river, north of Hai Van Pass, 101 km from Danang, 14 km from Thuan An Beach, the international airport and 14 km from Phu Bai Chan May deepwater port 50 km.

  1. Why to come?

Thuan Hoa – Phu Xuan Hue has a history of formation and development for almost seven centuries (from 1306). During his long period of Hue has integrated the material values and precious spirit to create a cultural tradition of Hue. The tradition has specific characteristics – a native of the land, not separated from the general characteristics of traditional ethnic culture of Vietnam. In the process of forming the culture of Hue with the impact of the Dong Son culture classes by residents from the north brought before the 2nd century and later 13th century mix with cultural components of Sa  Huynh culture which created Viet- Cham culture. In the process of development, transformation of the influence of other cultures in the region of Southeast Asia, China, India, West …Hue Culture is created by the unique mental, diverse in type, richness and uniqueness of the content, expressed very rich in various areas including literary, musical, theatrical, art, traditions, festivals, practices, behavior, eating – even – in the style of communication, lifestyle ….

Whenever you go to Hue, you must visit forbidden city , Khai Dinh tomb, Tu Duc tomb, get to the boat to go along Huong river then visit Thien Mu pagoda, then try “bun bo Hue” – local noodles and go to Lang Co beach.

  1. How to go?

Travelers could take domestics flight from Hanoi or Saigon to Hue about 1hour. Riding car or bus will taken more than 13 hours from Hanoi. Tourists also could catch a train along Vietnam which start from Hanoi or Saigon

  1. Activities:

To rent bycicles, scooters, cars in Hue is very convenient. Pedaling bycicle around the city will be great in cool weather. The travelers also should visit Hue by boat tour and try some local foods and drinks. In the afternoon, travelers should go to Lang Co beach – one of the most beautiful beach in Vietnam.
